Title: Adobe

Anyone know the difference between Adobe Photoshop 7.0, and Adobe Photoshop Elements?  I've got Elements, but was wondering if this had more or less facilities than APS7?

PC-Pro magazine reviewed Photoshop Elements 2 recently. You may find the review (http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/reviews_story.php?id=32865) useful Simon.

Could I ask what is the difference between Photoshop and Paintshop?. Are they just different packages that do the same thing?

Version 2, Tony!    ;) >:D >:D

Basically, yes, Lona, but personally, I now prefer Photoshop, as it seems easier.  I've only just started playing with it though, so I'll probably find things Photoshop can't do that PSP can, and vice versa.

I have used Photoshop all the way back to version 4.0 about 7 years ago now I think. Been a very long time. Moved to 5 then to 5.5 and 6 and 7. I dont use 7 much but have a copy of 5.5 installed at work and 6.0 here at home. I personally say version 5.5 to be the best version released by Adobe so far. 7.0 is not my cup of tea from some changes. But 6.0 Seems quite decent so far. Only been using it 6 or so months though.
