Samsung’s place at the smartphone industy’s top table is well earned. Its last two flagship handsets have been exemplary, and it has slowly but surely built up a fanbase only Apple can claim to rival.
The Samsung Galaxy S III, as the firm’s biggest launch yet, has a lot to live up to, and this is one of those rare devices that actually lives up to the hype.
The Galaxy S III ups the ante in a number of significant areas, none more so than its display. It’s 4.8in in size, up half an inch from the 4.3in of the Samsung Galaxy S II, it matches our current A-List champion (the HTC One X) pixel for pixel with an HD resolution of 720 x 1,280, and our first impressions are that it’s breathtakingly gorgeous.

You're drooling again. ;D
-
:letch:
-
Calm down dear!
-
Sounds good but I really don't see the point with this constant upgrading. This phone won't really be that game changer they want. It's an incremental upgrade really.
-
Indeed. I think I've invested too much in Apple to switch now anyway.
-
I agree with you, once you buy into Apple, it makes no sense to change, the cost is prohibitive.
-
My galaxy s2 is brilliant and takes outstanding photo's with it's 8Mp camera. Also done away with my aspire notebook as the GS2 is lightening quick  My OH has an apple and it's so slow compared.
-
It's outrageous! All you can think of is a new phone while I've lost the charger for mine and it's going to cost me £1.50 for a new one! Won't someone spare a thought for us poor pensioners? :bawl:
-
How can you lose a charger the size of a brick? ::)
-
its probably lost somewhere in the boot of that Jag.... *Yet again Clive leaves himself wide open*
-
Well, I certainly wouldn't leave some dodgy £1.50 charger from China plugged in unattended! :)x
-
The boot of the Jag was the last place it was seen and I've conducted a thorough search to no avail. We took it to London over the weekend but I don't remember seeing the charger at my son's apartment. Mrs Clive is very annoyed with me for being stupid enough to lose it. Thank goodness for Amazon!

That's probably the most amusing thing I've read today! :)x

Nail on the head.

Indeed! lol
-
We must buy Clive a boot tidy. ;D
-
Mrs Clive has one already, but it's stupid.
-
-
No bloody sympathy HERE! :bawl: Don't need a boot tidy because I keep it empty apart from the spare tyre and wheel changing equipment. Oh and an electric tyre pump which I had as a free gift from Argos.
-
... and the phone charger. :)x
-
Somewhere...
-
Probably in the secret compartment when he hides all his money. ;D
-
Found it!! It was just 2 ft away from me with my TomTom charger. I'd put the TomTom in the boot and the chargers on a shelf on my desk. I just went to charge the TomTom and there it was! When Mrs Clive returns this evening she will probably kill me. :bawl: £1.50 down the drain!
-
-
£1.50 down the drain!
Can you not get charge back ;D
-
:clever2: I may as well have confessed to being a serial killer as far as Mrs Clive was concerned when she returned home. ::)
-
:lol2:
-
Why can't women be more rational?
-
They are, Clive, but in a different way. ;)
-
Amazon, with its usual efficiency delivered my new charger today. So I now have a spare. :)x
-
One fine day, Mrs Clive will ask to borrow it. ;)
-
Oh it's a shared phone. We don't have individual mobiles.
-
Do you never go anywhere separately?
-
Rarely. But we have two cars just in case we feel the urge. :)
-
Keep a spare phone in the car and fulfill all you urges at once. ;D
-
Nonooo - keep up Rik. I don't have a spare phone- just a charger.
-
numpty! just keep one in the car.
-
That would have a detrimental on my fuel consumption. o:)
-
Only if you left it plugged in, Clive. ;D
-
The extra weight Rik. :)
-
Plus there's all the pills he has to carry around. :o:
-
How else am I going to stay alive to see Halley's comet in 2061? :dunno:
-
:lol2:

How else am I going to stay alive to see Halley's comet in 2061? :dunno:
Cryogenics? ;D
-
A bit too cold for me Rik.
-
You'd hardly notice after the first 24 hours. ;)
-
The first 5 minutes would be the worst.
-
At least you'd be stiff without little blue pills. :o:
-
I prefer the smaller beige ones. They last much longer.
-
I haven't a clue what you're on about! ;D
