I've had about 20 probes on port 445 this evening :(
It looks like there's a new round of DDOS attacks going on.
Is anyone else getting this and does anyone know virus/trojan is causing these recent attacks?

I wonder if this is the Deloder worm? It's been around since mid March and has been slowly spreading.

It certainly looks like it Clive >:( Thank goodness for ZoneAlarm :D
I'm up to 30 probes from different IP addresses now :(

Let's hope that all the security measures our hosts have recently taken will protect us on this occasion.
-
We'll be OK on that score Clive. Our web hosts wouldn't use crappy Microsoft servers if Bill Gates paid them ;) 8)

Haven't had any myself yet. I'll keep everything crossed. :o :)

It's stopped now - must have been my turn ::)

Scary isn't it? :(
I sometimes think people ought to have a "driving test" before being allowed to own a computer. Only trouble with that is that I'd be done for being drunk in charge of a PC :P :drunk:
