Title: Zone Alarm Firewall Usage
Post by: dnf999 on April 25, 2004, 13:47
Hi guys and girls!

I've just downloaded a free version of Zone Alarm Firewall protector!  ;)

I have a wireless network(with internet) set up in my home and was wondering if I can configure Zone Alarm to allow both computers to communicate through the network with Zone alarm still running??

(as when it is running i cannot access the other pc and vice versa + plus the other pc cannot connect to the net)  :-[

Do i simply change the security to low- will this work? or any other suggestions? (or recommendations on other free firewall products that can allow this!) PLEASE HELP!  ???

Thanks!!

Thought that ZA doesn't allow internet connection sharing unless you get the Pro version.

I used to use Kerio which allowed you to do it. They then allowed it as a 30 day trial in the latest version unless you buy it.

If you have a search on here for 'Kerio' you should find the posting listing a load of free firewalls.
