Title: Rec from Line In

Well i have a problem with my laptop

When ever i try to record something from my line in e.g. from tape to line in when i play it back it plays faster and also i hear crackling sounds i tried Sound recorder, creative media source to rec from tape to line in i could here the song clearly whilst im recording but when i play it back it comes out faster and you can hear crackling ! Its d same program my mate uses and he doesnt have no problems! whats wrong please Help!!!

You havent accidentallly ticked the effects box by any chance have you ?

Do you have an internal mike, AK? You have to turn it off or you get background noise.  :). Have you tried Goldwave for your recordings.?
