Post by: daveeb on July 14, 2004, 10:42
Can anyone think of a reason why i cant access one of my regular sites from home, but i can from work.  at home i just get "site unavailable". all my other regular sites are fine from home and the url i'm using is correct.  ???

the site in question is www.videohelp.com

i've tried reducing the permissions level and that didnt work and its not listed in restricted sites.

any wise thoughts appreciated  :)

Do you use a different ISP at home than at work Dave?

Sometimes ISPs can get "routing problems" which prevent access to particular sites. When I was with Demon Internet, this used to be a common occurrence for me. Touch wood, Nildram doesn't seem to have these problems.

Try asking your ISPs tech support if there is an issue routing to that website at the moment.
