Title: Audio in tv cards
Post by: Jaminxz on October 18, 2004, 13:57
HI,

I have recently set up a tv card and I havebeen trying to play my ps2 through it,with not much success.

First i tried a rf conection, but this was awfully poor quality.I have just connect it via the three lead(yellow, red, white) but it only ha a yellow socket,so i could play but with no sound. It has a svideo conection, but am i right in saying i won't get any sound with this??

cheers

RF would carry vid and audio but as you said the quality isnt that good, S-Vid and Composite only carry the vid so you would need to connect the PS2 audio phono out to your line in on your soundcard  :)

I just re read your post and the red white and yellow lead is the composite video on the yellow and the audio left and right on the white and red.
Has the lead got 3 phonos at the pc end ?
If so just get a twin phono to 3.5mm stereo jack and plug the red and white leads into that and the jack into your line in  :)
