I HAVE JUST INSTALLED A BROADBAND MODEM
HOWEVER EVERYTIME I SWITCH ON MY PC I HAVE TO PHYSICALLY CHANGE THE MODEM CONNECTOR INTO A DIFFERENT PORT TO GET IT TO WORK
HOW CAN I FIX A PORT TO THE MODEM

Hi Alland and :welcome: Your problem is not being ignored and will hopefully be resolved as soon as one of our techies turns up.

With some broadband modems, you have to install the drivers, before plugging the modem into a USB port. During the installation, it will tell you when to plug it in, and that's when it assigns the port. Suggest you uninstall and reinstall, but don't connect the modem to the USB until it tells you to.
