Title: World Wind
Post by: Clive on February 19, 2005, 08:22
World Wind lets you zoom from satellite altitude into any place on Earth. Leveraging Landsat satellite imagery and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data, World Wind lets you experience Earth terrain in visually rich 3D, just as if you were really there.

I've got that same version of it about three weeks ago.

Let me say, I expected it to be better than what it inspires to our minds.

I didn't find the resolution of the images good enough.

Anyway, maybe I'm wrong, because I installed it few minutes just to see how it is, and then felt the no need to keep it installed on my PC.
