For anyone who isn't aware - NTL have upgraded the speeds of their broadband packages.
300k goes to 1Meg
750K goes to 2Meg
1.5Meg goes to 3Meg.
HOWEVER they've now introduced caps on the amount you can download (1Gig a day for the 2 + 3 Meg services, 3Gig a month for the 1Meg service).
It was supposed to have been automatic (except for the 300k) but isn't. You can manually do it yourself though by going to the ntlworld site, clicking on broadband and then choosing the upgrade option.
Takes a short while after activation (10-15 minutes) but you should notice an improvement :)

It seems that a lot of ISP's are doubling speeds right now. AOL, BT and Pipex are three of the major ones but BT has a 30Gb a month cap.

Sorry to be thick but, my speed was upgraded to 300k from 150k.
Does this mean that it has been further upgraded?
I pay £17.99 monthly, and get 300k, didn't know about this further upgrade.

I think they increased them all about 6 months ago and again during the last few weeks or the next coming weeks :)

Aaaaaaaaah!!
I might not be as daft as I look!
