Which? magazine have published the results of a survey conducted by it's readers on the subject of ISP satisfaction.

The results don't hold any surprises for those who keep an interest in broadband matters, but is another indicator for those still choosing an ISP.
Details are not available on the online version, but if you pop down to WHSmiths it's in the August issue page 32.

Best Broadband:

 Metronet 91%
 Freedom 2 Surf 80%
 Zen Internet 79%
 Nildram 77%
 Waitrose 73%
 Eclipse 73%
 PlusNet 71%
 Force 9 70%
Others:

 Wanadoo 37%
 Bulldog 36%
 Tiscali 35%
 AOL Europe 35%
 BT 34%
 Kingston Comm. 29%
Worst Broadband:

It is!  Somewhere between 37% and 70%   :grin:   But you have to buy the magazine to find out.  When you do you can post the full list here.... :scoot:

Good to see Wanadoo in the bottom list.  As a customer, I can only say one thing about them.

Avoid.

I'm a customer of Force9 and its good to see them so high up.  I've recommended them to many pepole but they don't usually take me up on the offer and go for a more recognised company (i.e Wandadoo and Tiscali  :shock: )

I was surprised to see Bulldog so low.  Aren't they supposed to be the Super-ISP, with 8MB broadband for eighteen quid a month and free modem and connection?

Then again, as most downloads are restricted by the source to around 4KB/s, what use is 8MB broadband?
