Title: NETGEAR RANGEMAX WPN824 WIRELESS ROUTER

just bought that router...NETGEAR RANGEMAX WPN824 WIRELESS ROUTER

and im upstairs not even...20ft away and i have low connectivity and 11 mbps  yet my card is 22mbps!??
is there a setting or something??

Hi Jon, I dont think that theres a setting to improve the connectivity only the speed.
In the Wi Fi settings part, set the type to b + g, if its set to b only then you will only get 11mbs, g will do 22 and 54mbs if your router supports it.

The connectivity is dependant on the type of objects (walls etc) and distance between the base and the receiver. Try moving the antenna of the router or the router itself if possible to maximise the connectivity levels.
Its a case of trial and error though unfortunately I think  :(
