Title: Thunderbird mail backup
Post by: daveeb on February 26, 2006, 18:42
Evening all

I remember a while back Simon posted a really good tip about changing the awkward to find folder where IE saved its mail .dbx files. Now that i have ridden myself of the IE and OE devil spawn i want to do the same with thunderbird, or does this proggy save e-mails somewhere sensible and accessible already   :D

ummm...its sensiblish. In thunderbird have a look at the location at properties on local folders... you will probably find it is something like

Quote
C:\Documents and Settings\Samuel\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\blahhh\Mail\Local Folders
