What has happened to your signatures? All I can see are blank boxes where they used to appear.
-
Looks like theres a problem with Pipex webspace as thats where my avatar and sig are hosted and neither are showing.
Simons also with Pipex so his sig must be on his pipex space but his avatar must be hosted somewhere else.
-
I wondered why the pages were loading so quickly.

Oh happy day! It's not like Poopex to screw up yet again. (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fv300%2FMothballs%2FSmileys%2Fhehe.gif&hash=379b5b61e6f4dd6413c4798f6826a20b581ba48f)

Au contraire Dave, often a page is slower when it cant link to the sig if the webspace that hosts it is down :P
-
Shows that it is not a good idea to be dependant on other servers which may be located in other countries.
-
The Pipex servers are located in Leeds, Mac. They couldn't be less reliable if they had been located in Outer Mongolia.
-
Michelle's sig is the only one I see still working. Is it on a different server?
-
I think shes on AOL.
It will only be pipex hosted ones that are down probably.
As far as I know only Simon, Lona and myself are on pipex but I have a few peoples sigs hosted on my webspace.
-
I can see everyones sigs ............ ? I am on AOL but Cam hosts mine.

or submerged in a leaky box 2 miles beneath the Atlantic.

I notice that some have removed their avatar and signature. Is this on purpose?
Are the smileys next to go?
-
Sam carried out a software upgrade recently and a number of glitches have manifested themselves. Some people have temporarily removed their sigs etc until Sam resolves the problems. There are no plans to remove smileys! We couldn't live without them Mac!
-
...and currently sam is swept over with work. :-(

Sounds like an inundation Sam. Let's hope that it doesn't turn into a deluge.

always is!

Hi Folks,
well I have made a signature, nothing mind blowing I have uploaded it to Photobucket and got the IMG where do I put it to download on here, Iv tried putting it in Signature box only came up with the http bit, can someone please advise me
Thanks Kaz
-
Is it a static gif or jpeg, or is it an animated flash image, Kaz? If it's a flash file, you need to adapt the following code to put in your signature box in your profile, the 500,100 being the image size:
[flash=500,100]http://www.xxxxxxxxxx.com/filename.swf[/flash]
Try not to make it any wider than 500, as it may not fit properly on some people's screens.
If it's a standard image, then just replace the [flash=500,100] part with [img], and it should work.
Come back to us if you have any problems, and someone will sort it for you. :)

Thanks Simon

I used a program called Swish2, which is now Swish Max. I think you can still download either version from the website: http://www.swishzone.com/index.php
