It's my sad duty to report that we have been obliged to ban one of our newer members - Mac. Banning someone is not something this forum takes lightly and it really is a last resource. A number of warnings were given about inappropriate posts but unfortunately they were not heeded. A number of members complained and we had no choice.

I can't say that I'm surprised. I have some unusual views on life, but the man was a complete nutter. It takes a lot to baffle me (I work with a few autisitc students - and believe me, that can be baffling) but our recent friend had me totally lost.
Hope he is OK and doesn't have a complete breakdown.

It certainly seems he has some serious issues, but this little community is not equipped to support such a complex personality. As Clive said, the decision was not taken lightly, and we wish Mac the very best for the future.

Personally I think it was a good move to make. Lately this forum has been overpowered by religious / political topics - when it is fundamentally a forum to help members with PC problems and PC based discussions.
 to the Admins and Mods - keep up the good work.

A sad loss, indeed. (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fv300%2FMothballs%2FSmileys%2Frave.gif&hash=232a382bce8eedec5fec32bf7d1cd87cbfe3953d)
