Title: how to disable memory/video share

hi everyone
i noticed that my videocard is integrated,and taking up my memory space,is there anyway i can disable it from taking space,i installed the new card,but my ram still reads 192 mb,instead of 256,

Did you disable the on board graphics in your BIOS when you installed the new graphics card?
Without going back and checking your previous posts I cant recall which OS and PC you are using  ???

there may be a jumper on the mobo to disable the onboard graphics ... and as Sandra has mentioned ... try the BIOS

i tried in the bios
everything looks to scary for me :o
i tried disabling it in system properties
didnt work
it wont boot with my gefore video card
i have windows xp

Can you tell me which Bios it is ( Award,Amibios or Phoenix). Then I have a chance at telling you where to look and hopefully what to set it to  :-*
