Title: Tony Hawks American Wasteland
Post by: Scotty_CFC on June 14, 2006, 20:43
Hey,
I just went out and bought T.H.A.W PC, and it runs really poorly. It freezes in places and its really jerky. I have tried running it on the lowest resolution and still it runs crap, I have updates my drivers, run dxdiag and closed all background programs (before running my CPU is 99% idle).
Any suggestions on what else I can do?
My PC: Intel P4 2.4ghz, 512mb RAM, 256mb ATI 9600 Radeon.
Recommended: 2.0ghz, 512mb RAM, 64mb card
Cheers

From the symptoms you describe, it does sound like a graphics issue, but it appears your card is adequately up to the job.
Umm... have you tried cleaning the CD?  Do all other games run OK?  Do you have another drive you could run the game from?
