OK, how do you stream live video across on the internet? This is for a live show at a club in London.
I guess I could just bring a laptop with a cell connection, (high speed if there is one), and hook up a camera...
1. Is there a way to do this cheap?
2. And is there a service that needs to be utilized?
3. Would a cell connection provide adequate speed?
4. Are there any particular Carriers that have high speed(Tmobile, Orange?)
5. Is there a particular spec of camera we should use?
6. How would you then transmit it to your audience? Are there hosts that you do this through?
7. And are there other questions I should be asking?
I'm sure we could hire a AV company, but I imagine that would be expensive. And we're looking to do this on a regular basis. We're just looking to allow fans to join in with a live event. Kind of like what I've heard people are doing with weddings and such.
Of course I've never done anything like this, so hoping you all can point me to some easy answers! Thanks

I dunno i think is the answer to this one, unless it slipped through the net and those that are in the know are on holiday?

Yes, sorry for the delay on this one. If no one chips in soon, then I guess we don't have anyone around who's attempted this sort of thing, although I've heard that Sandra has some cameras set up in her bedroom for some reason...

From our conversations on MSN it seems that there is possibly more action to be seen on the granny feed than on the one from Texas Bob :P
