Title: trojan virus or hijacked-plz help

have a problem with my dads pc

turned the firewall off to try and acces a site
got a message from avg saying trojan virus found but it had fixed it

closed all programs down and tried to do a virus scan but the program shuts down as soon as i open it.tried to open firewall but this does the same.been online to try and download another anti virus program but
windows shuts the browser down saying it has a problem

opened task manager up and there seems to be something else running called project 1 and project 2???????when closing these the computer locks up :evil:

tried to download norton off a disk but it closes down as soon as i open it up

can any one please help with this?
i've run out of ideas?

Try doing a virus scan in Safe Mode, and hopefully it will remove the trojan before it has a chance to run.  If it still runs in safe mode, try Start > Run > msconfig > Startup (Tab), and if you can find the trojans in the startup list, untick them, and reboot into safe mode again.  Ad Aware and Spybot might also help, also in safe mode, but you will have to download and update them before running them.
