This was one of the greatest war films i had ever seen. Not only because of the action, but because of the training part at the beginning of the film. It shows you how brutal and strict Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, the senior drill instructor was and how some people just snapped. Lee Emmery is brilliant, and says some great lines, including the world famous "What is your major malfunction, numb-nuts!" ,another "Stanley Kubrick" masterpiece

Crikey, that's an old one! I always get that one confused with Platoon, neither of which I have seen for probably 15 years or more. :)
