Billy was at school this morning in the outback and the teacher
asked all
the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical
answers
Came fireman, policeman, salesman, chippy, captain of industry
etc, but
Billy was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher
asked him
about his father.
"My father is an exotic dancer in a *** club and takes off all
his clothes
in front of other men. Sometimes if the offer is really good,
he'll go out
with a man, rent a cheap hotel room and let them
sleep with him."
The teacher quickly set the other children some work and took
little Billy
aside to ask him if that was really true.
"No" said Billy, "He plays cricket for England but I was just too
embarrassed to say."
>:-) :hny:
-
Quite understandable.
-
 I'm watching the days highlights at the moment, well highlights for me anyway. ;D
-
f***ing aussies... >:(
-
oi.....
-
its ok I have f***ing aussie relatives... they get me enough on this matter! lol
-
We're not allowed to say f***ing pommies as it's considered a "racial slur". You poor babies are a little sensitive. ;) ;D
-
:haha: Political correctness gone mad again!
-
indeed
-
I think PC Pals should be declared a non-PC zone! Err... :nerd:
-
I don't have a problem being politically incorrect. ;D
-
Unless things have changed in the last few years you dont seem to have any problems with the newsreaders on TV talking about the Aussies beating the Pakis.
Theyd get lynched if they said that on our TV ::)
-
Well you would get lynched here if you called aboriginals "abo's".
-
Thats what amazed me MB.
I was telling my brothers mother in law that wed seen some Abos playing their didgeridos and she said "You shouldnt say that you have to call them Aboriginals".
A few minutes later while watching the news the newsreader said "The Aussies beat the Pakis earlier today" ::)

Cultural sensitivities in different countries.
I thought that african american was politically correct until Whoopi Goldberg came out and said she hates it as she isn't african, she's american.
-
WE WOZ ROBBED!
-
I'm sure you'll do much better in the one day series. (she says chuckling to herself) ;D

thats a big joke, test matches are what we are supposidely good at... lol
-
I can't think of one team sport that we are actually good at!
-
ummm... i would say that our football league is great but then again we just attract the best players in the world to play here, not a bad thing but not really great as just english players... oh well.
-
I suppose I was thinking more in terms of playing against other countries, and perhaps it was a little unfair, as we have won the Rugby and Cricket in recent years. As I have said before, I do think the amount that we pay our footballers is obscene, given that they never win anything on the World or European stages.
-
well our national team doesnt but our club teams are rather successful... and they do have a number of english players!
-
I'll get me coat... :scoot:
-
I'll get yer coat too, Simon. We should have stuck to playing Rounders. :(
-
... and they do have a number of english players!
They probably require a certain amount of english players so they can still claim that they are indeed english teams. ;)
-
well they need to have some many in their squad for european competition.. but dont need to play them...

African American is the correct term
some here are getting tired of the races calling themselves their [racial nationality] american even though their familys have been born in this country for generations. So a lot now show their american pride by just calling themselves american which is what they are
