Post by: Delgado on February 24, 2007, 11:37
Here is a link for Microsoft Customers to buy either F-Secure Internet Security or F-Secure Anti Virus at 50% off.

  http://www.f-secure.com/protectyourpc/

I dont know what this is like nowadays!

I think you can upgrade for free to 2007, once you have purchased 2006.

It's a great program - if it works on your machine.  Unfortunately, for some reason, although the protection works fine, and it runs very efficiently, with minimal impact on resources, the Full System Scan stalls and crashes every time on mine.  I spent 2 weeks in consultation with F-Secure, but they failed to come up with a solution.  In the end, I formatted and reinstalled Windows, because I hadn't done so for about 3 years, so it needed doing anyway, but STILL F-Secure wouldn't fully scan my machine, so I was forced to give up with it.

You can also get it even cheaper than the 50% off deal, OEM from Ebuyer (http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/122781).
