Title: Windows XP to be retired in 2008

Windows XP will stop being available on new PCs from the end of January 2008.

So, no point in buying the new ME (you read it first here).

I could go on, but there's nothing else to say - except LINUX.

Well, I've just had a walk into the recently opened Currys store on the inner bypass.  (Anybody approaching Chorley can't miss it - it has a massive sign on the front which causes light pollution all over Lancashire after dark.)  Not one PC/Laptop in there has XP on it, they all have Vista Basic/Premium depending on the spec.  Should be a good, free, recruitment tool for the "Build Your Own PC From Scratch" course at night class, as I for one would never buy anything with the new ME already on it and I doubt if I'm on my own.
