what do people use to read pdf documents.
at the moment I use Adobe Reader as I guess a lot of people do but are there any better ones. I seem to get bother with this. It freezes, hangs when shutting documents, seems slow etc.

I have always assumed Adobe Reader was the only one. I certainly haven't heard of anything else, but there may well be other compatible applications. Have you tried re-installing the latest version, Baz?

There's the Foxit (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php) software, which a lot of people recommend (I've not tried it as I have the full Acrobat).

Hi Rik, and :welcome:
Good to see you here! ;)

Thank you, nice to be here. :)

foxit is pretty darn good.

Oldversion has all the previous versions of Adobe acrobat. Many of them do the same thing as the newer ones but without all the added features and other junk that tends to slow them down.
