Title: MCEBuddy

Today I downloaded MCEBuddy (http://mcebuddy.com/), a free program which takes recordings made with M$ Media Center and converts them into other formats (including DivX) automatically stripping out any adverts.  Sadly, I can't get it to strip away any junk at the start or end of the programmes.  Nevertheless, in this world of limited video applications for Vista, I think this is useful software.
