Title: Sky +

My son has a Sky + box that won't record a "series".    It's a new installation and he's connected to a communal Sky dish in an apartment block.  Apparently he needs two "inputs".  What does that mean and would THIS (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Global-F120-Sky-Distribution-Amplifier/dp/B000NJRN26/ref=sr_1_35?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1205833972&sr=8-35) solve his problem?

No that wont do it Clive.
That allows you to connect a second TV to the sky box.

He needs another lead from the communal dish or a seperate dish of his own if he is allowed to put one up.
