Some of you may remember that I saw him at a jazz festival less than two years ago. He was a great musician and a wicked comedian.

Apparently, he was still broadcasting up to a month ago. I'm not really into Jazz, but find the 'lighter' stuff enjoyable occasionally.

I'm an "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue" devotee and as such I shall miss him dreadfully. He's provided me with so much laughter over the years.
I wonder if his funeral cortege will pass through Mornington Crescent?

I'm sure many people will miss him, given that his death was relatively sudden, but he did well to carry on broadcasting right up to the age of 86.

When I read why he was in hospital, I thought that this would be the outcome. Great character.
