Title: Firefox 3 - missing yellow address bar for secure sites?
Post by: Simon on June 22, 2008, 20:54
If you have upgraded from FF2 to FF3, and are missing the yellow address bar indicating an encrypted website, you may want to have a look here for a 'hack' which will bring it back:

i didnt notice that till I started using FF3... I can see it. I'm not sure I'd completely trust what Firefox tells you with those coloured bars anyway but anything is better than nothing for the average user.

I presume it works by picking up the 's' in https://, Sam, so it's probably as safe a guide as any.
