Oh, do you have Blu-Ray then Simon. I'm sure you will be able to get some, well maybe a couple of movies. :)x ;)
This is why I'm never in a hurry to buy new technology, that and lack of money. :)x
-
I can believe it.
-
I will admit I was surprised when they said that Blu-Ray had won over HD, didn't really make sense.
-
Indeed. Sony have never won a format war before. Very confusing...
-
I had a friend and work mate that had a great Sony Betamax unit, swore that it was the future.
-
Betamax was far better quality than VHS ever was and has been.
-
And Sony made the same marketing mistakes then. :(
-
Betamax was far better quality than VHS ever was and has been.
So that's why you purchased a Blu-ray unit, to replace your Betamax. :)x
-
I never actually owned a Betamax - couldn't afford one! You were talking about £700 for a machine back in the mid-80s! :o
-
Same problem with their Blu-ray. I haven't bothered with any of it yet. I do have SD boxes, but I stopped using those as I found it too difficult to go from that the VHS to the Sat.box and the DVD. :stars:
I just want one unit that has everything, except of course the Sat.box.

I just did a "bla bla...................something something" and when I hit post, I had a look at it and could see that bit was light blue as in a live link. So I clicked it, and bugger me my address book popped up on my screen.......not the web, just on my desktop. But I had know idea how I did that

I'm confused, albeit I haven't read that article properly but I thought Blu-ray was doing much better than the competitor but not making a dent on DVDs. Oh I think I see now...
