-
Wonderful, Darling! But I think the phrase 'Happy New Year' should be banned.
-
To be replaced with 'Sod off, I want to go back to 2007'? :)
-
2009 will certainly be a year to remember - for all the wrong reasons. :(
-
Bugger 2007, I want to go back to the seventies....... :)x
-
That would do nicely.
-
I liked the 50's

60's for me. ;D

1971.....................ahh what a year.....what a girl.......what was her name ? ;D
-
In my case, David, Sue. Met in September, got engaged in December. :)
-
So it must be an anniversary in one way or another ,just think if it wasn't for Sue you could have ended up a drug addled old soak....still wearing the same hairstyle of that era.......................................Think life was good to you ;)
-
It was, and in six days we mark the 37th anniversary of our engagement. I class my life as BS and PS. Some people may interpret the BS differently, but it means before Sue. ;D
-
 :welldone: congratulations Rik and Sue and many more,I wont ask the secret,Simon said something about whips and handcuffs, but I know he is only joking ;D
Well done ad many congratulations to you both

You are too modest Rik.........relationships have to work both ways

-
60's for me. ;D
My mothers womb, I was happy in there ;D
-
Tell me about it, this may be of some psychological significance. ;D
-
-
Speaking of mothers, can someone please remind me next year, that bringing my mother down for Christmas, is one of the worst ideas I have ever had. Even worse than the presents I bought for her, and not to mention Christmas lunch, though the pudding was quite nice. She bought it and apparently I'm quite good at reheating. (Aren't I clever)
-
So, you'll go to her next year? ;D ;)
-
It may take me a while to regain my sense of humour, Simon. So I'll bookmark this and laugh at it in about a months time.
Michael now refuses to go up there, and he takes priority, so I'll be staying with him, and only go up for the January sales. Retail therapy is very good for depression.

Sadly, mums can be incredibly selfish MB. It's impossible to come up to their high standards but you will still suffer the same indignities and humiliation next year.
-
But you will miss them like mad when they are no longer around
-
But of course!
-
But you will miss them like mad when they are no longer around
Sadly too true

You have no idea, Clive.
But you will miss them like mad when they are no longer around
Yes, I miss my father a great deal, he knew he had lung cancer and chose to do nothing about it.
-
The guilt will get the better of you next year too. She will be a year older. ;)
