You beat me to it, Clive.  Last time The Prisoner was shown, I sat and watched every episode, without managing to fathom out what was going on, then my video failed to record the very last episode, so I never did find out!  It was all something to do with a monkey, wasn't it?  Apparently, it's on ITV4 at the moment, so I may try to catch the end.  I guess Pat McGoohan is finally free now.
