NTL has confirmed that the price of its 128Kbps 'broadband' service will increase to £17.99 a month from May 1.

However, as if to sweeten the pill, the cableco has said that the speed of the service will increase to 150Kbps. Whoopy-doo.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgh!  (https://www.pc-pals.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hogarth.alivewww.co.uk%2Fsmilies%2Fhorror.gif&hash=7f2efc6f886bf80c4fb65dc3f0222e5a2272bef3)

At the moment, I'm getting 256K for the price of 128K because of the way the C&W setup works, so I suppose I shouldn't grizzle too much.

Erm...  what was the good news again?
