So, if they come out in five years, what are we supposed to do with all the mercury laced energy efficient bulbs we currently have, which are meant to last for 10 years?  :dunno:

Wouldn't the mercury get into the water supply and kill us all?  I thought these energy efficient light bulbs were supposed to be deadly (http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/cfl.asp).
