Title: MP4 Help

i got a Nokia n95 now when i use the camcorder part it saves has MP4 and my pc will not open MP4 what i need to do so i and get them to work on my pc

 :sigh: makes me want to :icon_chuckpc:

Anyway can anyone help please

Have you got the latest Windows Media Player?  This is the one for XP (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx), and there's a link to the Vista version also on the page.

Isn't mpeg4 a quicktime extension?

You'll need to make sure you have the necessary codec(s) installed to replay mpeg4 video/audio on windoze media player.

A quick search on the ms site gives this:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/format/codecdownload.aspxIt claims to work for series 9 & 10 players (I've not tried it).

You'll also start to come across m4a extensioned audio files (that's the audio bit of mpeg4).  Typically purchased from iTunes and other sites.

Windows Media Player  :ack:, just use "VLC media player" it will play anything.

ok i find VLC the best if i like to see it on my pc but in the end i find the best was just to up load it to youtube
