Foo fighters are good. we went to the Leeds carling festival a few years back and they were playing there...brilliant.also Muse were there
We had some tickets for the Foos at Newcastle a few years back but unfortunately I couldnt go, my wife went with her mates and she said they were fantastic. They played part on a central stage which Dave just appeared on mid song and the wife was about three people back. excellent.

I love Dire Straits too MB  I was fortunate to see them live in my area and was almost within touching distance of the stage, they were awesome! :woot:

Another favourite of mine is this one :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-ANKxsSZRs
Peter Green, probably the best ever blues guitarist, at his best.
You may think that I only like instrumentals, I do like music with vocals in as well but a lot of people can sing other peoples songs as well as their own, no one plays an instrument the same way and thats where the real skill and talent is :)
I keep looking for a real version of "In a broken dream" by Rod Stewart with Python Lee Jackson but can only find it done by others or Python Lee Jackson without Rod.
That to me is one of Rod Stewarts best ever songs.

Snap! ;D A friend of mine scored tickets to see them back in the eighties. We were in the second row, left, a little too close for my liking. My friend was an audio operator in television, he was deaf for two days after the concert. :woot:

Sandra....didnt know there were original versions of 'In a broken Dream'. I always thought the only one, which I have on a album, was by Python Lee Jackson featuring Rod Stewart as guest vocals
its on this album (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00000GBK2/ref=s9_simz_gw_s0_p15_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=18DHGM0RJ4G5VEZ9XNGB&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467198433&pf_rd_i=468294) if you dont already have it.
-
I was looking for it on youtube Baz.
There are covers and karaoke versions and Python Lee Jackson, minus Rod Stewart.
Its not even on Spotify with Rod Stewart though :o
I have it on my pc as mp3 from a few places :)
