It would be a way out of the concerts, and to write off some of his debts.  I can't see how he could remain anonymous forever though, as he wasn't exactly indistinct.  That said, without the hair and makeup...

Apparently the authorities have finished examing his brain now and put it back in his body so he could well be alive, although it would have been hard to see any difference between MJ with a brain and MJ without a brain  :o:

You're joking!  There's probably archives of previously unreleased material, which is bound to start turning up.  Hell, they're even going to release the DVD of the concert rehearsals.

Kind of hard to get the government paid workers to go along with it. They're suppose to take their jobs very seriously.
