Title: Digital cloud plan for city skies
Post by: Simon on November 11, 2009, 22:01
A giant "digital cloud" that would "float" above London's skyline has been outlined by an international team of architects, artists and engineers.

The construction would include 120m- (400ft-) tall mesh towers and a series of interconnected plastic bubbles that can be used to display images and data.

If that ever comes to fruition I will eat my hat!  Too many people will petition against it and for good reason.   ::)

It looks like War of the Worlds!  But in comparison to the disaster that will befall London in 2012, it's probably not a bad option.  :)

I think they'll need them.  If there isn't a terrorist threat when the Olympics are on, I'll be very surprised.  :(
