I sometimes wonder if more people would go for it if it wasn't free? Perhaps people think, if it's any good, why give it away? :dunno:

We once had a car for sale that we had got at a ridiculously cheap price as it needed a new clutch fitting and advertised it at a price that would have given us a reasonable profit. No one came to look at it. After seeing what similar models were going for we then readvertised it for a lot more which was still about £50 pounds less than most were asking. This was in the late 70s when you could still get a decent secondhand car for £300 or so. It went the following day to the first person who saw it and we could have sold it to at least another 10 people in the next couple of days :)
