It always seems so sad when this happens. I wonder why I feel such an affinity with whales and dolphins?

not sure - and you aren't the only one - probably cause they look intelligent? or all those soppy documentaries?

I really don't know, it seems very primal. Maybe it's that they're mammals, maybe it's just that their such magnificent animals.

It is a great shame, but at least 33 of them survived.
