The Earth Day test flight of a partially biofuel-powered F/A-18 Green Hornet was another example of Navy Secretary Ray Mabus's committment to decreasing the military's consumption of foreign fossil fuels.

I'd like to see a proper costing of biofuels, both in terms of carbon footprint and the amount of land taken out of use for the production of food. Somewhere, there is a balance to be struck between the two interests.
