Title: New Technique Could Track Down Dark Energy

While the acceleration was discovered in 1998, its cause remains unknown. A new technique developed for the Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Telescope (GBT) have given astronomers a new way to map large cosmic structures such as dark energy.

Lest there be any confusion, Dark Energy is not known to have any association with Dark Matter!

Very true Gill.  Nobody really doubts the existence of dark matter because of the way galaxies and galaxy clusters orbit each other but dark energy has been invoked just to mess with your mind.  Forget all about it and it will go away.  :D

or we will accelerate from everything else forever and ever and in a few hundred million generations will forget all about it anyway.
