The Rustock botnet has been running for nearly four years, according to Symantec.
I can't believe that it can be that hard to track down and kill the source of these botnets. Or, have I missed something? :dunno:

Before they were blown out of the water Blue Frog were on the right track, by targeting the advertisers using spam as their medium. More on the sad demise of the frog in this flawed Wikipedia article here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Frog).
