Mozilla may release an eighth beta of Firefox 4 before heading to Release Candidate, as the open-source developer struggles to get the new browser out of the door.
Mozilla released the first beta of Firefox 4 in early July, but has since added a flurry of new features - such as App Tabs and Panorama - in successive betas, increasing the complexity of the release.
The Mozilla release schedule has a seventh beta pencilled in for the second half of this month, although there's speculation that an eighth beta might be issued before a release candidate, which isn't due until the second half of October.

better that than some half baked piece of s**t... e.g. IE of any version.

Im bored of all these Browser Wars. The most important thing for me is to search the Internet and read the pages in a safe and simple way. All this business about which Browser to use is becoming a bloody great bore!!!!

It sounds to me like the latest Firefox will be even more bloated than the last one.
-
It's not my fault, I haven't been feeding it, honest! ;D
-
Well, you're probably too busy feeding yourself! ;D
-
True. I could keep a third world nation alive. :)

A third world nation? Such as Scotland?

I'll call Lona. ;D
-
Haven't heard from Lona for a while. I hope she's okay. Perhaps she's been seconded by the Scottish Commonwealth Games Team to go and put a flea or two in the ears of some Indian contractors. Let's face it, if anyone could sort out that mess, it's Lona!

She's perfectly happy battling a double glazing firm, Gill. ;)
-
Fresh round today. ;D
-
Indeed. She won't give up! ;D
-
I wonder when they'll issue a refund.
-
They should have by now, imo.
-
It would have been cheaper for them, I suspect.
