New PCs could start in just seconds, thanks to an update to one of the oldest parts of desktop computers.

I don't understand why this is being touted so much, given the massive over head is reading the hard disk too.... the bios is pretty fast but I guess they can do some other fancy things.... and better remote management would be very useful
