The BBC's own research has discovered that DAB radio leaves the audience nonplussed.

We knew that... ;D

I quite like DAB, especially as we live in an area that gets poor analogue reception. However, I'd be very upset if analogue broadcasts were to be switched off before an alternative for car radios was practicable.

There are conversion kits available now, but I'm not sure how good they are:

I like DAB but internet radio beats it hands down

Planet Rock looks cool, but I have to confess, I've never listened to it.
By the way, Sam, have you heard the new MCR album? It's a departure from Black Parade, but it's a grower.

ooh I'd forgotten that was coming out... I'll have it in the morning now.. and have a listen to it on my flight home. Last flight = Linkin Park, which I enjoyed, so I hope this is the same.

Don't you need a computer with an internet connection to play internet radio?
-
Yes, not quite suitable for cars unless you're parked near a hotspot...

I have no doubt that you can buy stand alone systems that will pick up your wireless connection. Perhaps someone can confirm that? :dunno:

Not from a car, Clive, but around the house, yes.

Yes, but mobile internet is cheap these days and will get cheaper too.

Its called a mobile phone = portable computer now.
And of cause there is always satellite radio, really big here.
-
Though it could be an expensive way to listen to the radio. ;)

depends on your dataplan, the data required is pretty small and if you have a good deal its probably not bad at all.
Over here Sirius is huge - http://www.sirius.com/
