Title: No spam in Googlemail
Post by: Clive on May 07, 2011, 16:59
I've had a Googlemail account for 5 years and not seen as much as one item of spam arrive in my inbox.  Yet with my Yahoo address, several spams get through each day.  Whatever Google is doing to prevent spam is certainly working well.   :dunno:

I agree.  My Yahoo account is the only one that gets regular spam.  In fact, I might as well not bother with it, as I never use it, and only ever clear spam from it.

Although I've had a few spam messages land in the inbox of my Gmail account (which I opened soon after they were first offered), the vast majority go correctly into my spam folder.  Apart from having to regularly check my spam folder for FPs, I'm well impressed with Gmail's value-for-money.

I think I opened my GMail account after an invite from you, Rod.  :)
