Sony has been hacked again and is hosting a live phishing site on its servers, according to security company F-Secure.
The security firm said the latest hack had nothing to do with the ongoing Sony PlayStation Network woes, but nonetheless represented more security troubles for the electonics giant.
“We know you're not supposed to kick someone when they are already down ... but we just found a live phishing site running on one of Sony's servers,” said Mikko Hypponen, chief research officer at F-Secure, in a post on the company blog.
“Basically this means that Sony has been hacked, again. Although in this case the server is probably not very important.”

I'm surprised that, given Sony's current problems with security, they seem to have forgotten so quickly about their 2005 fiasco, when they decided it would be a great idea to give away a free root-kit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_BMG_copy_protection_rootkit_scandal) with every audio CD.
