Telecoms giant BT is to raise call charges for residential customers by up to 5% on 3 December - the second increase this year.

And this can be justified how? ':|
-
Probably the most uncompetitive telecoms company on the planet. I get my line, anytime calls to landlines and unlimited internet for little more than BT's Line Rental.
-
mobile phones must be killing them for calls too.
-
Have to admit, I hardly ever use my landline to make calls, and if it wasn't for having to have it for broadband, I'd probably bin it.
-
We only got a phone with Virgin as it made out package cheaper .. :dunno:
-
No cable here.
-
They have priced themselves out of the market. But of course they offer such splendid service! ::)
-
:haha:
-
My interest is whether this is a wholesale or retail price increase. The last two have been retail, and IDNet kept its charges unchanged, a wholesale increase will leave them with no option but to follow suit.
-
That wouldn't be good news.
-
No, but it would be the first increase in almost two years.

I'm tied in to this lot (http://www.planet-talk.co.uk/index.aspx) for the next eight months at a fixed rate. It's saving me at least £72 per annum over my previous agreement with BT and I get better service.

Plastic cups linked together with a piece of string would give you a better service than BT Gill. :)
