Almost half of UK internet users are going online via mobile phone data connections, according to the Office for National Statistics.

I suppose I must be counted in those numbers because I move my laptop from room to room.
-
Is that on your little wheely table that goes over your knees?
-
:haha: Actually I hate laptops and do 95% of my computing on a desktop. :D
-
I do have a laptop, but I hardly ever use it, and when I do, it takes an hour to update before I can do anything on it.
-
My phone is only mobile in that I can transfer the handset from my right hand to my left hand.

I have two laptops, but the only software on them (apart from the operating system) is anti-virus, anti-malware, firewall and web browser. I only use them for the internet - anything else is done on the desktop.

I usually work on the big box and keep my Dell 1545 laptop as a boy-racer project. The Dell started life as a cheap and fairly harmless Celeron lappy, but thanks to eBay now sports an Intel T9300 CPU, WD Scorpio Black 500GB H/D, Wireless-N card, Bluetooth, Win7x64 Ultimate, JBL Duet speakers, la, la, la...
The idea was the laptop would be a safety net in case the big box goes t/u. I say was, because I broke it earlier this evening after fitting an integrated webcam. Now some of the keys no longer work, despite having used a year's supply of harsh language on it. Thus your prayers and any surplus money would be appreciated.

I'm praying you don't want me to fund your swear-box :) . Hope you get your lappie fixed soon.

Another 'desktop to do anything, laptop in case' merchant here.

Used to be the same. Not anymore I hardly ever turn on my desktop. This is to the dismay of tother one who I'm sure gave me the prone office space because I wouldn't shut up about it.
