Title: wireless network cannot find server

hi can any body tell me what i have done i have installed a sumvision pci adapter in to my desk top and set it up as to manufactures instruction and it keeps coming up can not connect to server i am using sky broard band . also when the card is enabled the ehternet cable connection is also lost i did have another net work adapter in the comp which i swopped  i have tried to reinstall the old one but this is comming up with the same  error i am using windows xp pro with service pack 3 installed i have also contacted sky tec help and after 2+ hours they could not sort it out please help thanks james

Firstly, what is the sumvision pci adapter for?  Is it some sort of TV card?  Do you have a firewall installed and have you checked to see if the connection is being allowed?  Have you also checked in Device Manager to see if the card is correctly installed?
